Beach Wheelchair Sand Rider

Tired of seeing friends and family left behind when the day's activities ventured off the pavement, a new custom beach wheelchair was designed to ensure that everyone can enjoy being out-of-doors for the day, swim at the beach or share off-road activities on gravel trails, grassy fields, swampy areas or snow.

Sand Rider beach wheelchairs have superior stability, a comfortable seating position and height, and are easy to push. You can transport Sand Rider in a small car trunk, store it in a closet or fly with it to your beach vacation.

Featuring an ergonomic push handle design and a convenient front pull point, you travel from your car to the water with ease. Sand Rider uses oversized Wheeleez™ wheels for superior sand and off road performance.

Sand Rider adjusts for different sized riders and offers several accessory options including movable arm rests, seatbelts, combination beverage/beach umbrella/fishing rod holders, parking brakes and rolling travel bags.

Whether you plan to use your Sand Rider at the beach or another off-road destination, you will enjoy its unparalleled performance and ease of use.

• The entire device, including the wheels, weighs 49 pounds. The heaviest single piece (the seat frame) weighs just 12 pounds.
• The frame is powder coated aluminum.
• The upholstery is sling quality vinyl coated polyester, UV stable, Microban® antimicrobial protection, and GREENGUARD® Select Certified.
• Hardware is salt water resistant 316 stainless steel.
• Seatbelt: Quick side release cam buckle on polyester webbing
• The unit can be separated into 3 basic parts plus the 2 large wheels in less than a minute. This is accomplished using four ergonomic twist knobs and two quick release pins. You may watch assembly video below.

• Armrests: either standard type or Comfort Fit
• Multi-function cupholder: holds beverage cups of 3" diameter or less or fishing rods and umbrellas with diameters of 1" or less. Installed on the right side unless requested on the left.
• Parking brake: stainless steel hub brake can be applied by either user or assistant. Keep Sand Rider in place for secure transfers and while relaxing on sloped beaches or grassy hills.
• Rolling duffle bag: 1000 denier nylon shell with exterior cinch straps and extra handles allows you take your Sand Rider along for air travel. Includes a separate pouch for small parts.
