In situations where the risk at the spread of infections is high, the use of single patient use products is recommended. The products can be discarded directly after use. This improves hygiene but also reduces the amount of work around the laundry with all involved risks. For caregivers, the risk of musculoskeletal injuries is extremely high with manual lifting, transferring and (re)positioning of patients.
