Dynamic seating options
Involuntary movements often cause several challenges for wheelchair users and attendants for example sliding and thus often need of repositioning.
This can be accommodated by including dynamic seating solutions. For the Netti 4U CED the following dynamic options are available:

If the movement patterns include pelvic movements, we recommend a complete Netti Dynamic System including a dynamic seat unit. For this purpose, we offer the Netti Dynamic CED.
Clinical tests show that dynamic options increase the user’s quality of life giving him the opportunity to spend longer time in the chair in a good seating position thus enabling him to take part in every day life.
By allowing the chair to adapt to the user’s movement, the wear of the chair is also reduced.

A good positioning of the feet is the first step in creating an upright and stable seating position. And even head control is influenced by the leg positioning. Therefor many leg support options are important if you want to create the best possible seating situation allowing the user to socialize and improve respiration.

54 mm seat width flexibility
Seat width reduction (2x15 mm) and seat with expansion (2x 12 mm) give room for growth and make the Netti 4U CED economical in use. These options can also be used to create optimum stability and position.
Combined with the flexibility in seat depth, this makes Netti 4U CED suitable for users of many sizes with functional seat widths of 320 mm to 500 mm.
For larger seat widths, we offer Netti 4U CED XL and Netti III HD and Netti III XHD.
Seat depth from 375-500 mm
Netti 4U CED offers both short and long seat depth. This makes it suitable for e.g. tall and skinny users.
Equipped with comfort pads, it can have a seat width as low as 320 mm, and still have a seat depth up to 500 mm. The seat depth can be adjusted by 75 mm without changing the components.
Adaptable for asymmetries
Netti 4U CED offers the most options to compensate for different asymmetries.
Hip asymmetries can be accommodated through different adjustment of the extension pieces offering a stable fundament.
Curved back shape can be supported through the Velcro back with 6 individually adjustable straps as well as the possibility to position the back cushion according to the user’s back shape.
