- Permolock allows users to drive while sitting in their wheelchairs.
- The new Permolock is designed for use with the C400 and C500 power wheelchairs and must be installed by a certified NMEDA representative.
- Permolock consist of two elements. One is a locking device mounted to the wheelchair chassis and operated by a control button on the front edge of the armrest. The second element, a locking plate, is mounted in the vehicle. This is operated by a control button mounted in the vehicle.
- The system offers three release options: Electric-Control Button, Manual Release and Emergency Release Handle.
